Silver Birch Odds and Grand National Form
2007 Grand National winner who returned from nearly two years off with injury to show glimpses of his old form and, perhaps, indicated enough to his connections to suggest that he should be given another chance at the National itself in 2010.
The problem is that he is now thirteen-years-old but he was still going well when coming down at Bechers on the second circuit last year and then went on to run Cross Country king Garde Champetre to two lengths at Punchestown.
He obviously retains a lot of his old ability and as he has still only had nineteen races over fences so perhaps Silver Birch could bow out on a big win?
