Flintoff Odds and Grand National Form 2013
Does this horse sound like it might have a chance in the Grand National? 2nd in a Blue Square at Haydock, 6th in an Irish Grand National, 3rd in a Scottish National and 2nd in a Midlands National.
All those races are recognised as trials for the Grand National itself and Flintoff has performed well in all.
The problem is that he hasn't actually got his head in front in any of these races and he is prone to throwing in the odd stinker along the way (see the 2008 Midlands National and this years Welsh National) but given that we are starting to get vibes that we could be getting softer ground than is usual at Aintree a horse with proven stamina on that surface would be a useful allie.
Now back with Venetia Williams he looks well worth including in your portfolio at odds of 66/1 or bigger on the exchanges and he could very well run into a place or better!
