He has previously won over the National fences and could be a great each way bet. The handicapper is likely to set him a tough challenge but even so he could finish as the top Irish horse in this years national.

There are, however, plenty of other Irish trained horses who could run well in the Grand National. Notre Pere was the first Irish horse ever to win the Welsh National and whilst he will have plenty of weight at Aintree in 2010 he is a real top class stayer and could just have too much power for the rest of the field if given his chance.
