Swing Bill Odds and Grand National Form 2013
Swing Bill made his debut in the UK for Henrietta Knight in November 2006, racing six times for that trainer without getting off the mark. Unfortunately he then suffered an injury and was off the track for over three years.
On his reappearance he had been moved to David Pipe and Pipe managed to get the horse to win on his debut for the stable.
Swing Bill has been a frequent runner for the Pipe yard since then and has won four times in total for Pipe, including two decent handicap chases at Cheltenham in November of 2011 and 2012.
The suspicion would be that this horse is not particularly well handicapped for the Grand National off a mark of 142 as he has tended to do his winning from the 120s and low 130s.
He should give his jockey a good ride especially as he has already been round the Aintree big fences four times, including finishing fifth in the 2011 Topham and fourth in this season's Becher Chase.
