Royal County Star Odds and Grand National Form
Favourite for the 2008 Irish National and looked to be travelling like the winner three out but didn't find as much as expected and eventually finished 12 lengths second to eventual winner Hear The Echo. This performance doesn't exactly scream out that he has the necessary stamina to potentially win a Grand National and his potential Aintree supporters must also be turning a blind eye to his numerous jumping errors in the bet365 gold cup at Sandown. A good horse but probably better backed in other races.
