Perfect Candidate Odds and Grand National Form 2019

14:35, 6 Feb 2019 Updated 14:39, 6 Feb 2019
Perfect Candidate has had another good season for Fergal O’Brien and this consistent chaser has won at least one race every year since 2014. The eleven-year-old gelding is probably not that well handicapped due to his consistency and he tends to struggle when upped to higher class races. All his wins have come in races up to the value of 28k and in the eight times he has raced for higher prize money than that he has only managed to record one placing. Perfect Candidate was pulled up in his previous attempt at the Grand National and the suspicion remains that a race of the highest competitive nature such as this is going to prove too much of a challenge for this horse.
