Parsons Legacy Odds and Grand National Form
Broke a few ante-post hearts when withdrawn from the Grand National at the publication of the weights in 2008 but made it to Aintree in 2009 and didnt really appear to enjoy the experience.
After a mistake at the second fence he was hampered in running and ended up towards the rear of the field until compounding his problems with a further mistake at The Chair. Eventually came down at Bechers on the second circuit when some way behind so its hard to know if his early mistake and traffic problems affected him or if he just didnt enjoy the Aintree experience.
Either way he isnt getting any younger and injury has played a part in his career before so ante-post wagers would appear to be a fairly risky proposition. That said he does go well fresh so if his connections decided to leave him off until the race itself that might prove an interesting move and one that could play handsome dividends.
