Miko De Beauchene Odds and Grand National Form
One of the horses of the season with two gutsy victories in the Welsh National and the even more valuable Red Square Vodka Gold Cup at Haydock. On both occasions the horse and Andrew Thornton battled to success and were rewarded with very emotional scenes in the winner's enclosure due to trainer Robert Alner's spell in hospital. Likely to receive plenty of media attention whilst his trainer recuperates and could become a National "story". The horse may well need some cut in the ground to produce his best form as he was disappointing in the Scottish National when pulling up on fastish ground but that had come after a very hard season.
