Merigo Odds and Grand National Form
Won the 2010 Scottish National in emphatic fashion and connections have now stated that the Aintree National is now the target for 2011.
Merigo was given a superb attacking ride from the front by Timmy Murphy and in so doing won Ayr's showpiece race for his father-in-law, Raymond Anderson Green.
After three years of a great association with 2008 Grand National winner Comply Or Die, Merigo's emergence into the 2011 Grand National betting will probably see the end of the Murphy/Comply Or Die partnership and with stamina assured and victories recorded on ground ranging from good to heavy, this horse must have a major chance at Aintree in 2011.
