Le Beau Bai Odds and Grand National Form 2013
Le Beau Bai has always been highly regarded by his trainer since winning his first two National Hunt Flat Races and having a run in the Cheltenham Bumper in 2007.
Was kept up to his work in 07/08 with twelve runs over hurdles between Nov 07 and Nov 08 but did record three wins in that time over progressively further distances.
Le Beau Bai came into his own when sent over fences winning four out of his first five races over the larger obstacles. This resulted in him going off the 4/1 favourite for the 2009 Welsh Grand National and finished a respectable third. Too high in the handicap in the 10/11,Le Beau Bai’s form was pretty patchy but a return to a workable handicap mark did the trick in 11/12 with two wins including taking the Welsh National at Chepstow in a dour staying battle with Giles Cross on heavy ground.
Most of his wins have come with a fair amount of cut in the ground and connections have voiced reservations about running their horse on fastish ground so it might be best to leave your bets on this horse until bookmakers are offering non-runner, no bet terms.
