Great Endeavour Odds and Grand National Form
Very lightly raced and won last year's Byrne Group Plate at the Cheltenham Festival as a novice. Obviously improved for racing on better ground that day as despite winning on heavy ground on his debut over fences, he had subsequently disappointed on two further outings on very soft ground.
As his Cheltenham win was only his fourth race over fences and his ninth race under Rules in total he would seem to have very little experience to be touted as a Grand Natioanl prospect. Connections got their fingers burned with another promising but inexperienced horse in The Package last year and as Great Endeavour would only be seven by the time of the Grand National 2011 he would surely face a very stiff task.
Has been running in the top handicaps at 2.5 miles in 2010/11 and syill has to prove his stamina over fences, although he has won a point-to-point and over 2m 6f at Towcester.
