Trainer Jonjo O'Neill voiced concerns about the softness of the ground prior to this horse running at Chepstow and his fears proved correct as the eight-year-old was eventually pulled up. It would be unwise to write this horse off though on the back of one bad run. The style and substance of his Cheltenham win suggests that this is a horse with more to offer and he could be seen to good effect when back on a sounder surface at possibly the Cheltenham Festival or even at Aintree in the Grand National itself.
