Air Force One Odds and Grand National Form
Originally ran on the flat in Germany coming to Charlie Mann in the 06/07 season and got off the mark with a couple of wins in novice hurdles at Leicester and Ludlow. Went over fences the following season and outlined his ability with two very easy wins in novice chases and these wins saw him installed as favourite for the Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot. Ended up being run out of that race by subsequent RSA Chase winner Albertas Run but did stamp himself as one of the novice chasers of the season with a thirteen length success at the Punchestown Festival.
No wins came in the following season but he was only campaigned in the top company and at only eight-years-old he still has plenty of time to add to his tally of wins.
However, his jumping seems to have fell apart this season and although he finished third on his reappearance at Newbury he made numerous mistakes and has then failed to complete on two subsequent starts. Would have a major chance if he could rediscover his novice chase form but a clear round looks unlikely at the moment.
